St. David Catholic Church is a community of faith-filled believers. From humble beginnings in August of 1963 with 200 families and no building, St. David has grown to become a strong community of over 700 families with a church, school, gymnasium, and athletic field. We gladly welcome new parishioners and visitors.
Catholic Education
St. David and Immaculate Conception Schools consolidated in 1988 becoming Holy Child Catholic School. St. John Catholic School in Imperial merged with Holy Child School in 2007. Holy Child Catholic School is the home school to all three parishes.
Holy Child serves children from preschool through 8th grade. Students in kindergarten through 8th grade attend classes on the campus of Immaculate Conception Parish. The preschool students moved to the campus of St. David in the fall of 2011 to accommodate the increased enrollment throughout the entire school. The preschool implements a center-based approach to early childhood education known as Project Construct. The preschool currently offers programs for three, four, and five year old children. Options for parents include: half-days two, three, or four days per week, half-days five days per week, or full-days five days per week. The entire staff participates in on-going staff development to ensure the instructional integrity of our program model. Our goal is to provide a sound instructional model where students can learn and grow at a young age in a Catholic environment.
