Posted below are impending parish events. Please read the Bulletins for details on these and future activities.
PSR NEWS The first evening of PSR is Wednesday,
August 22!! We are very excited about the
start of our new PSR year of growing in our
Catholic faith and parish community! Our
August Catechist and Faculty Meeting is
this coming Wednesday, August 8. Through
the summer, we have had individual
Catechist meetings and have worked on our
lesson plans and curriculum goals. We pray
to the Holy Spirit to guide us in the
formation of our young Catholics. Please
pray for us. Thank you!
Journey in Faith A world of discovery awaits you in God’s
family, the Catholic Church. Discover how
much God loves you, through the gift of His
Church. Journey in Faith and discover God’s
Sacramental gifts of Baptism, Confirmation
and Holy Communion. Journey in the Rite of
Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and
come home to God, in His Catholic Church.
“Why aim I here?” “Is God real, and if so,
why do I feel so alone?” “Why have some
priests and ministers fallen into grave sin?”
“Why does coming to Mass make a
difference?” “Why have I never really
committed to a relationship with God and his
Church?” “ Why all the rituals and rules
(you will be surprised by how few rules there
actually are)?” These may be a few of your
thoughts and questions as you journey in
your faith. We would be privileged to walk
this journey with you.
Come home to Christ and discover your
relationship with Him in the Church.
Discover Him through the journey of RCIA,
a place to learn and question and discover.
We are here waiting for your questions with
an open heart responding to the Holy Spirit’s
call.
Please come and visit and stay awhile. We
will start with a night of inquiry on
Wednesday August 29th and September 5th in the St. David Fellowship Center starting at
6:45 p.m. to ????, and will be continuing the
journey each Wednesday night following our
nights of inquiry.
Hope to see you there! Your RCIA Team
