Mission Statement

St. David Catholic Church is a community of faith-filled believers. From humble beginnings in August of 1963 with 200 families and no building, St. David has grown to become a strong community of over 700 families with a church, school, gymnasium, and athletic field. We gladly welcome new parishioners and visitors.

Holy Child School Website

With our foundation from the original parish schools, Holy Child Catholic School is the oldest school in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. St. David and Immaculate Conception Schools consolidated in 1988 becoming Holy Child Catholic School, adopting the Mission of “A Catholic Community dedicated to the education of the whole child in an environment where the Gospel values become a way of life”. St. John Catholic School in Imperial merged with Holy Child in 2007. Now, Holy Child is the home school to all three parishes. Students from preschool through 8th grade may attend Holy Child Catholic School. The preschool implements a center-based approach to early childhood education known as Project Construct for children 3-5 years old. Preschool options include full and half days, 2, 3, 4, or 5 times per week. The entire school staff participates in on-going staff development to ensure the instructional integrity of our curriculum.

Parish School of Religion

The Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides religious education and sacramental preparation for children who attend public schools or Catholic home schools. St. David PSR educates children from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Classes are held in the St. David Parish classrooms on Wednesdays, from 6:30-7:45 p.m., beginning in August.
